About the owners of Lento and their beliefs (according to their website):
"A few years ago we became very interested in superfoods, powerfoods and everything healthy for our body. We have delved further and further into this and have finally found that the pinnacle of health is a completely vegan lifestyle. We have to admit that this was not always easy for us in the beginning, because we were real meat and fish eaters and we also thought cheese was super tasty. But when we also learned more about the ecological impact of meat, fish and dairy and, of course, animal suffering, the choice was quickly made for us."
