In 1984 is On Y Danse opgericht. On Y Danse staat voor kwaliteit en met de ontwikkeling van het kind centraal. Vanuit een ballet basis worden de kinderen getraind tot eigentijdse dansers.

"On Y Danse was founded in 1984 from Studio LP, which continued as a professional dance company Introdans. On Y Danse stands for quality and with the development of the child at the center. From a ballet basis, the children are trained to become contemporary dancers with an annual final performance in Stadstheater Arnhem On Y Danse also specialized in boys lessons around 2000. Boys Action is the result of this.
Theater dance lessons especially for boys
Boys can start dancing lessons especially for boys from the age of 5. The lessons are given from a didactic approach (BADM™) that focuses on their motor skills, culture and experience. The lessons use elements from acrobatics, modern dance, academic technique and break dance. The basic elements of musicality, creativity, elementary motor skills, strength building, posture, mental resistance and group dynamics are addressed in every lesson.
BADM™ = Boys Action Dance Method, a dance method that is tailored to the motor development of boys.
Girls can start from 3 years old. Up to and including 9 years old, different age groups are then playfully worked on the basic principles of the classical ballet technique. This means that the basic elements of musicality, creativity, elementary motor skills, strength building, posture, mental resistance and group dynamics are addressed in every lesson. From about 8 to 10 years, the above elements are explored in depth with an eye to quality and accuracy. Furthermore, the compulsory participation in choreography days and performances encourages the children to be involved in theater dance both technically and creatively.
Adults
For adults, On Y Danse offers the possibility to train recreationally in one or more techniques/styles."
