At Engen harbour there is a framed view of the glacier Engebreen. Take a framed photo of Engebreen. You can even take a selfie where you kiss a fish.

Engebreen is a glacier arm of Svartisen, stretching down towards the lake Engabrevatnet. Svartisen is the second largest of Norway’s glaciers. In the 1890's, the Svartisen Glacier covered this entire lake Svartisvatnet, which is only a couple meters over sea level. The glacier is in retreat,
in 2007 the glacier was only 20 metres above sea level. Now the glacier is about 200 metres above sea level.
The area becomes very suddenly foggy, so stay on the road if you want to get closer to Engebreen. Do not walk alone to Engebreen, and do not walk up on the glacier itself.
Type of Framed View: free standing window
