"In the central nave is a special pulpit , made in 1862 by sculptor Hendrik Peeters. During the career of this Turnhout resident, the brother-in-law Pierre Joseph Divoort took an interest in the company, causing people to talk about Hendrik Peeters-Divoort. The piece of furniture depicts the same scene as the pulpit from Saint Andrew's Church in Antwerp: Christ addressing Peter while fishing. "
