"AZ Turnhout is a regional hospital that originated from Catholic hospitals. It consists of two campuses in Turnhout: the Sint-Elisabeth campus and the Sint-Jozef campus. Guy Peeters is chairman of the board of directors.

The Sint-Elisabeth campus has 342 recognized beds and is aimed at intensive and urgent admissions. The Sint-Jozef campus has 305 approved beds and focuses more on planable admissions and acute care for mother and child"
