About the City Park:
"You can take four short walks in the City Park. Each walking loop is about 900 meters of walking. At the entrance of the City Park at the gate on the Steenweg op Zevendonk there is a map with the four walking loops. Each walk is named after a card symbol of the playing card (eg diamonds).
The walks start at the statue in the middle of the City Park. There are four roads that lead to it. Small signs with the card symbols hang from the trees around the statue. That way you can see which way the walks depart from. Since these are short walks, there are no more special signposts along the way.
During the walks you pass the old meadows in the valley of the Aa, the ornamental garden of all residents of Turnhout. The pond in the heart of the park is a nice resting point. Children playing and joggers fill the perfect picture."
