"Citizens can grow vegetables, fruit and herbs in an ecological way in the allotments of the City Farm. They do this without using chemical fertilizers and weed killers. The emphasis on 'gardening together' is also important. The gardeners learn from each other and maintain common areas.

There are 35 gardens with a size ranging from 25 m² to 100 m².

The realization of this project was realized with a subsidy from the Flemish Government (project call for public gardens 2017)."
