The treehouse is located next to the Scouting main building and entrance/car park. The walls of the treehouse have been built around the branches of the tree.

About the scouting area:
"In the middle of the Netherlands, on the edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park, you will find Scout Center Buitenzorg. The site for Scouts and primary schools who want to camp in the woods.

This former estate has been owned by Scouting Nederland since 1949. The site is managed by volunteers.

The terrain
Scout Center Buitenzorg consists of 12 hectares of woodland. You will find eighteen camping fields and three indoor accommodations here. The fields vary from small fields suitable for a few tents to larger group fields. Each camping field has its own campfire place and there is plenty of firewood available. At our Scout Center we camp with attention to nature and the environment and we strive for sustainable management of the site."
