A beautiful church in the historical center of Mexico City

This church is attached to a monastery although the visitor doesn't have such perspective as the yard providing access to the temple makes it look a stand alone church.

It's located close to the "zocalo", the main square, in the most nobble area of the city.

The facade is not that extraordinary but the interior is a completely different story Fortunately it's open to visitors most of the time and the entrance is free.
