Karlic Tartufi offers a wonderful experience for truffle lovers. At first the attendants get a lot of information about white and black truffles, truffle products, the truffle dogs, the truffle hunting and so on. One can try different tastes of liquor with truffles. In the restaurant the attendants can try different truffle products like truffle salami, cheese and bread with various spreads and watch, how the scrumbled eggs with truffles are prepared. And they are delicious! Finally sweet profiteroles with truffles are served.
In the shop one can find lots of various truffle products, like whole truffles, cheese, salami, olive oil, honey, salsa, butter, liquor, brandy and much more.
The highlight is of course the truffle hunting. Close to the main house is the first plantation of black truffles in Croatia, where you are taken with a truffle hunter and his dogs. The guide will explain a lot about the truffle hunting and one can watch the dogs searching and most likely finding some of them.
