Het 'KNIL-monument' op Landgoed Bronbeek in Arnhem is een beeld van een Molukse en Nederlandse soldaat in gevechtstenue van omstreeks 1940. Tussen de twee mannenfiguren is een granieten gedenkplaat geplaatst. Het geheel is geplaatst op een voetstuk.

Het 'KNIL-monument' op Landgoed Bronbeek in Arnhem is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan het Koninklijk Nederlands-Indisch Leger dat 120 jaar (van 1830 tot 1950) het gezag in het voormalige Nederlands Oost-Indië ondersteunde. Het KNIL-monument in Bronbeek kreeg nog een bijzonder vervolg. In 1991 werd een kopie van het monument geplaatst op het ereveld van de oorlogsbegraafplaats Pandu bij Bandung op Java.

Het monument is onthuld op 26 juli 1990 door Zijne Koninklijke Hoogheid Prins Bernhard, veertig jaar na de opheffing van het KNIL.

The 'KNIL monument' on Landgoed Bronbeek in Arnhem is a statue of a Moluccan and Dutch soldier in battle dress from around 1940. A granite memorial plaque has been placed between the two male figures. The whole is placed on a pedestal.

The 'KNIL monument' on Landgoed Bronbeek in Arnhem was erected in memory of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army that supported the authority in the former Dutch East Indies for 120 years (from 1830 to 1950). The KNIL monument in Bronbeek was given a special follow-up. In 1991 a copy of the monument was placed on the plot of the war cemetery Pandu near Bandung on Java.

The monument was unveiled on July 26, 1990 by His Royal Highness Prince Bernhard, forty years after the dissolution of the KNIL.
