The Philadelphia Zoo is just over 42 acres and the pathways are designed so each turn will provide an exciting discovery! Be sure to pick up your Zoo map on your way in so you can chart your course – there is so much to see, you won’t want to miss a thing! More than just animals to look at - many activities
CONS:
Some things are pricey....
Okay - this zoo surpassed my expectations in every way. The animal exhibits were amazing - don't miss the gorillas - they love putting on a show for you! But, there were so many different animals to look at, houses to go in and see different exhibits, face painters, camel rides, swan boat rides, an awesome play area for the kids called The Treehouse - they could have stayed all day in there! The only thing that did bother me was that even though you paid $17 for adults for entry, you then also had to pay $5 per person for the paddleboats, $5 for the pony rides, etc.... it seemed a bit excessive inside, but still, it was a great day!
