Tyholdt Tower is a 124 m high radio tower and a viewing platform. The tower also features the revolving restaurant Egon. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees in one hour. The restaurant is 12 angular and with large glass windows. You can walk into the viewing platform without having to visit the restaurant. Fortunately, there is an elevator in the tower.
Tyholdt Tower was built in 1985 and was designed by the architect Nils Christian Ottesen.
If you have a fear of heights, it is a bad idea to go up the tower, as the windows are from floor to ceiling. However, there is a nice view over the city, the sea and the mountains.
