Next to the Central Station on Skeppsbroen is the former Stock Exchange Building. It was designed by the two architects from Stockholm, Axel and Hjalmar Kumlien. It was built in 1876 and inaugurated in 1879. Since it was built, it has had several functions. First it was the customs house "Stora Tullhuset", later it was the auction house, and then it was transformed into the Stock Exchange House "Malmö Börshus". Since 1986, the building has served as a Conference Center.
