EN: The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) was founded in 2006 as a merger of five specialized cantonal universities. It belongs to the four northwestern Swiss cantons of Aargau, Basel-Land, Basel-Stadt and Solothurn. Its main sites are located in Windisch (AG), Olten (SO), Basel (BS) and Muttenz (BL).

The campus in Muttenz was opened in 2018. The cube is the largest building in the entire canton and contains around 4500 study and workplaces.
