DE: Der kleine Park "Mølleparken" zwischen Søndergade und Kongevej 50 im süddänischen Ort Tønder wurde 2008 auf Betreiben des Kunstkomitees des Stadt- und Handelsvereins Tønder sowie des Kunstmuseums Tønder in einen Skulpturenpark umgestaltet. Zum Zeitpunkt der Einrichtung standen 75000 dänische Kronen als Startkapital zur Verfügung, die durch die Carlsberg-Stiftung noch erhöht wurde.
Das erste aufgestellte Kunstwerk war die "Emma" von Lisbeth Nielsen und wurde am westlichen Ende des Parks in der Søndergade aufgestellt. Im Verlauf der Jahre kamen weitere Kunstwerke hinzu, die zum Teil auch südlich des Parks an Bachmanns Mølle aufgestellt wurden. Eines der ausgestellten Kunstwerke, eine Figur von Robert Jacobsen, wurde leider entwendet. Zum zehnjährigen Jubiläum am 28. Mai 2018 wurden weitere fünf Kunstwerke in den Park verbracht und der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt, so dass sich jetzt 16 Figuren im Skulpturenpark befinden.

EN: The small park "Mølleparken" between Søndergade and Kongevej 50 in the southern Danish town of Tønder was transformed into a sculpture park in 2008 at the instigation of the Art Committee of the Tønder City and Trade Association and the Tønder Art Museum. At the time of the establishment, 75,000 Danish kroner were available as start-up capital, which was increased by the Carlsberg Foundation.
The first work of art displayed was "Emma" by Lisbeth Nielsen and was installed at the western end of the park in Søndergade. Over the years, more works of art were added, some of which were also set up south of the park at Bachmanns Mølle. One of the works of art on display, a figure by Robert Jacobsen, was unfortunately stolen. For the tenth anniversary on May 28, 2018, another five works of art were brought into the park and presented to the public, so that there are now 16 figures in the sculpture park.
