When we saw this tea room from the battlements of the Battle Abbey, we were instantly in the mood for a cup of tea and a lunch. When we entered, the interior was very snug and cosy. There were lots of little decorations and I was worried to break something. This was well made up by the welcome and the delicious tea tastes and homemade pastry cakes that we had. I saw on the internet that the tea room is closed now, an explanation is not given. I hope it reopens soons because it was a great place to enjoy a typical English cup of tea.
