A set of meters displaying cumulative data on fundraising is located at the "Faces of the Rainforest" section of the Roger Williams Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island. Divided into three sections, each part counts coin donations for separate ecological initiatives underway by the park. From left to right, they are: "Saving Darwin's Frog" (purple), "Teaching Sustainable Practices in Guatemala" (yellow), and "Protecting Habitat Through Greener Ranching" (green).
The colorful display at the southern end of the zoo adds a PLINK-O style game component to the efforts. Visitors deposit a coin in a slot at the upper section and it drops and bounces through a series of pegs along a random vertical path down to collection bins, the fronts of which are clear acrylic and show off the accumulated coins. Beneath the title of each project at the upper division is an electronic digital display of illuminated red numerals which show the number of donations. Heavy wood beams frame out each part of the charity display.
