NL Op onze vakantie hebben wij een bezoek gebracht aan de Veluwse Stoomtrein Maatschappij in Beekbergen. Je kon er een kaartje kopen voor een ritje met de stoomtrein naar Dieren en terug naar Beekbergen. Toen wij het vroegen mochten wij ook gratis het terrein op om de stoomtreinen te bekijken. Net op het station zagen wij meteen een stoomtrein vertrekken/rangeren met veel getoeter. Het wordt gerund door vrijwilligers en naar mijn inzicht heb je mde meeste kans op vertrekkende treinen in de middag. Naast het bekijken van de vertrekkende stoomtreinen is dit ook een goede plek om oude stoomlocomotieven en spoorweg-materieel te zien.
ENG On our holiday we visited the Veluwe Stoomtrein Maatschappij in Beekbergen. You could buy a ticket for a ride on the steam train to Dieren and back to Beekbergen. When we asked, we were also allowed to enter the site for free to view the steam trains. Just at the station we immediately saw a steam train leaving / shunting with a lot of honking. The place is operated by volenteers and is most busy in the afternoon. In addition to watching the departing steam trains, this is also a good place to see old steam locomotives and railway equipment.
