Wanneer James Bond voor de eerste en enige keer naar Nederland komt, gaat hij undercover als diamantsmokkelaar. De Nederlandse scenes zijn allen opgenomen in de Amsterdamse binnenstad. Onder meer bij de Magere Brug en de Reguliersgracht waar hij diamenten moet afleveren bij Tiffany Case op nummer 36, 3 hoog. Op deze locatie werden ook daadwerkelijk opnames gemaakt.
Verder zijn er opnames gemaakt van een rondvaartboot die langs een woonboot vaart waar een lijk uit de gracht word gehaald.
James Bond's dekmantel is overigens niet helemaal perfect. Hij spreekt een paar woordjes Duits in plaats van Nederlands.

When James Bond comes to the Netherlands for the first and only time, he goes undercover as a diamond smuggler. The Dutch scenes were all shot in the center of Amsterdam. Among others at the skinny Bridg and the Reguliersgracht where he has to deliver diamonds to Tiffany Case at number 36, 3 high. Recordings were actually made at this location.
Furthermore, recordings were made of a tour boat that sails past a houseboat where a corpse is removed from the canal.
James Bond's cover isn't quite perfect, by the way. He speaks a few words of German instead of Dutch.
