DE: Der achteckige Pavillon am Treffpunkt der Wege Kongevej, Richtsengade und Nørregade ruht auf einem etwa ein Meter hohem Podest aus Sandstein, zu dem je an der Ost- und an der Westseite eine dreiseitige Treppe mit fünf Stufen führt. Auf den acht, in weiss gehaltenen, dorischen Säulen von etwa drei Meter Höhe befindet sich das achteckige, gewölbte Kuppeldach, darauf an der Spitze der Kuppel ein Stern aus Speeren. Auf der Plateaufläche selbst befinden sich 4 eingebaute Sitzbänke, ein angebrachtes Holzgitter verhindert einen Sturz von der Plattform.
Um das Jahr 1800 herum ließ Carsten Richtsen, der damalige Bürgermeister der süddänischen Stadt Tønder, die Parkanlage Nørre Allé zusammen mit zwei hölzernen Pavillons als Geschenk an die Bürger der Stadt errichten. Die Pavillons sollten Musikern als kleine Bühne dienen, auf der sie dann ihre Stücke der Bevölkerung präsentieren konnten. Der zweite Pavillon an der südwestlichen Seite des Parks wurde aber bereits Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wieder abgebaut. Um 1950 herum wurde der Pavillon, der bei den Einheimischen als "Liebestempel" bekannt ist, unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Die letzte Restaurierung, bei der auch die Farben erneuert wurden, fand dann im Jahr 2013 statt.

EN: The octagonal pavilion at the meeting point of the paths Kongevej, Richtsengade and Nørregade rests on an approximately one meter high platform made of limestone, to which a three-sided staircase with five steps leads on the east and west sides. On the eight white Doric columns about three meters high is the octagonal, vaulted dome roof, on top of which is a star made of spears. On the plateau itself there are 4 built-in benches, an attached wooden grille prevents a fall from the platform.
Around 1800, Carsten Richtsen, the then mayor of the southern Danish town of Tønder, had the Nørre Allé park built together with two wooden pavilions as a gift to the town's citizens. The pavilions were intended to serve as a small stage for musicians on which they could then present their pieces to the population. The second pavilion on the southwest side of the park was dismantled in the middle of the 19th century. Around 1950 the pavilion, known to the locals as the "temple of love", was placed under a preservation order. The last restoration, in which the colors were also renewed, took place in 2013.
