Das Einhorn:
Das Einhorn ist ein Fabelwesen von Pferde- oder Ziegengestalt mit einem geraden Horn auf der Stirnmitte. Es wurde im Mittelalter besonders durch den Physiologus bekannt, gilt als das edelste aller Fabeltiere und steht als Symbol für das Gute.
Im deutschen Aberglauben erzählte man, das Einhorn sei ungeheuer stark und könne sogar Löwen besiegen. Es sei aggressiv, einsiedlerisch und hasse alle männlichen Wesen. In einem Wulst auf seinem Kopf trage es einen Karfunkelstein. In Gefangenschaft sterbe es.(https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einhorn)
Darstellung am Schloss:
Das Einhorn befindet sich auf dem Wappen-Relief auf der Nordseite des Schlosses. Ob es historisch ist, ist unbekannt. Auf Fotos des Schlosses vor der Renovierung (2008) ist kein Wappen zu erkennen.

The unicorn is a mythical creature in the shape of a horse or goat with a straight horn on the center of the forehead. It was best known in the Middle Ages for the Physiologus, is considered the noblest of all mythical animals and is a symbol of the good.

The unicorn is on the coat of arms relief on the north side of the castle. Whether it is historical is unknown. No coat of arms can be seen on photos of the castle before the renovation (2008).
