The Melkwegpad (Milky Way path) runs past the former WWII Westerbork camp, Hingsteveen and the radio observatory.

The fascinating world of the universe and the largest radio telescopes in Europe are central to this walking route. Young and old learn in a playful way about the operation of the radio telescopes, the Milky Way and our solar system.
The walking route runs between the parking lot of the Kamp Westerbork Memorial Center and the foot of the Westerbork telescope.
