At the "St. Martin of Tours European Cultural Route" there are several check points, where one can get a stamp for a pilgrimage booklet. One of these check points is the Archaeological site Atrans, with the stamp in the Restaurant Trojane. On the parking area one will find a sign, that includes a map, some general information about the route and also some information about where you are (the elevation 553 m, the coordinates, travel time to the next stations etc.).

In 2005, the St. Martin of Tours European Cultural Route was incorporated into a Council of Europe programme concerning cultural routes dedicated to great European figures. The Saint Martin of Tours Route begins in Martin’s birthplace, the town of Szombately, Hungary. The route runs through Slovenia, passing many places associated with St. Martin such as Domanj$evci and Martjanci, also passing through Maribor and Ljubljana, and extending to Italy. In Italy, the route runs through Pavia, linking it to the French village of Candes-Saint-Martin where St. Martin died.
The route also runs through Tours, where he was acclaimed bishop and where he was buried at the Basilica of St. Martin. The route is aimed at attracting pilgrims, hikers, athletes and those who enjoy nature and cultural heritage. The route stretches 2500 km between Szombathely, Candes-Saint-Martin and Tours. A cherished value symbolized by the route is the sharing of cultural and other benefits.
