Välkommen till Mörarps kyrka!
Mörarps kyrka byggdes troligen under senare delen av 1100-talet, men tornet tillkom på 1600-talet, Dopfunten är av kalksten med romerska reliefer och anses vara gjord av "Mörarpsmästaren" på 1100-talet.
Triumfkrusifixet är från mitten av 1400-talet. I absiden, korvalvet och de två vackra stjärnvalven i långhuset finns kalkmålningar från 1400- och 1500-taleen. Predikstolen och altarupsatsen är i senrenässansens från 1600-talet med ramverk och dörrar i gustaviansk stil från 1768. Det
norra vapenhuset såldes 1749 till gravkor åt ätten Rosensparre på Rosenlund.

Kyrkan är oftast öppen på vardagar kl. 12-15, men kan även öppnas på andra tider om vaktmästaren finns i närheten.

Welcome to Mörarp's church!
Mörarp's church was probably built during the latter part of the 12th century, but the tower was added in the 17th century. The baptismal font is made of limestone with Roman reliefs and is considered to have been made by "Mörarpsmästaren" in the 12th century.
The triumphal crucifix is from the middle of the 15th century. In the apse, the chancel vault and the two beautiful star vaults in the nave, there are frescoes from the 15th and 16th centuries. The pulpit and altarpiece are in the late Renaissance from the 17th century with frameworks and doors in Gustavian style from 1768. It
the northern coat of arms was sold in 1749 to burial cows for the Rosensparre family at Rosenlund.
