The 112-year-old Ferry Portal has been restored. Can be seen at the entrance to the port area. A port from which ferries to Germany and Poland have sailed for many years. At the top of the high, blue iron gate is the symbol of the Swedish Railways with wheels, wings and a royal crown. Furthermore, two "fish". This means that there are also train carriages with the ferries
On the sixth of July 1909, the Ferry Portal was inaugurated and both the Swedish King Gustav V and the German Emperor Wilhelm were visiting.
