"The dairy farm now also houses a nursery, after-school care, catering, room rental, a farm shop and a campsite with farm safari. The owners, Peter Gille and his wife Annigje, are far from finished.

Gille and his wife want to expand the care aspect in particular. He therefore participates in the national initiative Boerenversneller. “Within ten years I hope to be able to transform my company into a care estate.”

The Boerenversneller is a trajectory in which farmers of different backgrounds are guided in the search for innovation opportunities within their company. Everyone can participate, from an oyster mushroom grower or goat farmer to poultry or mixed farms."
