Blackabrook Clapper is at the confluence of the Blackabrook with the Plym. This area is a favorite with visitors and a good area to start a long walk on there southern moor. Not long ago there were protests in this area, the local clay works wanted to create a clay pit in the Blackabrook valley. People power won the day, and the clay company gave up the rights. Soon all the clay works will be shutting down.
