Bärnbach is the smallest city of the district of Voitsberg in the Austrian state of Styria. Its name can be translated like "Bear's creek" and a bear is a heraldic of the city. That is why Austrian sculptor Alex Schinagl (1926-2011) designed new fountain located in the northern part of the main square as a pool with a group of bears (she-bears with two cubs) standing at its edge. The statue are made of special concrete.
