DE: Die Brunnenkulptur "Kinder im Regen" besteht aus Bronze und ist etwas mehr als einen Meter hoch. Das Wasser kommt aus der Spitze des Regenschirmes und läuft gleichmäßig verteilt über die Rippen des Regenschirmes. Unter dem Regenschirm stehen ein Junge und ein Mädchen auf einem Stein recht dicht beieinander und bleiben somit auch vom Regen verschont. Die Skulptur befindet sich inmitten eines achteckigen gemauerten Brunnenbeckens von etwa 3m Durchmesser.
Geschaffen wurde die Skulptur von Künstler Frido Graziani (*1914, +2005), gegossen wurde sie in einer Auflage von 200 Stück von der Kunstgiesserei Strassacker. Neben dem hier dargestellten Exemplar in Schleswig wurde auch in Binz (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) und in Neuenburg am Rhein (Baden-Württemberg) öffentlich aufgestellt.

EN: The fountain sculpture "Children in the Rain" is made of bronze and is a little over a meter high. The water comes from the tip of the umbrella and runs evenly over the ribs of the umbrella. Under the umbrella, a boy and a girl stand very close together on a stone and are thus spared the rain. The sculpture is located in the middle of an octagonal walled fountain basin with a diameter of about 3m.
The sculpture was created by the artist Frido Graziani (*1914, +2005), it was cast in an edition of 200 by the Kunstgiesserei Strassacker. In addition to the example shown here in Schleswig, it was also publicly displayed in Binz (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) and Neuenburg am Rhein (Baden-Württemberg).
