Loge Het Vrij Geweeten N.25 was granted a constitution letter on 26 January 1791 by the National Grand Lodge of the seven united Netherlands.
And that makes the lodge the oldest association in Breda.

According to their website:
"The lodge currently (end 2016) has 45 members, ranging in age from 32 to 87 years and the average age in our lodge is around 60 years. It is rare for members to cancel their membership: after initiation they remain part of a workshop. By the way, Freemasons are almost obliged to themselves to remain young in spirit. That people take it seriously is apparent from the colorful and dynamic interpretation of Thursday evenings. Those who can come will not easily miss out, simply because Thursday evenings provide fascinating and inspiring insights time and again, and it is also downright fun."
