James Keiller 1836-1918, a shipyard owner, donated in 1906 the premises surrounding Ramberget to the city of Gothenburg on the condition that the city would here create a park for the public. Ramberget rises 87 meters above sea level and is the best place to get a view of the city and its surroundings. You can even drive all the way up to the top and the compass rose. There are also geocaches to be logged nearby.
