Wenige Gehminuten oberhalb der Wolfsklamm gibt es direkt neben dem Wanderweg nach St. Georgenberg einen besonderen Kraftplatz. Eine Menge Steinmännchen haben sich unterhalb des bekannten Wallfahrtsort in Tirol innerhalb einiger Jahre angesammelt – und es werden immer mehr. Das breite Bachbett führt genügend Baumaterial mit sich und das Wasser aus dem Karwendel bringt jedes Jahr neue Steine zum Steinmandl bauen mit. Das nutzen viele Wanderer für ihr „Stoamandl“.

Früher wurden die „Stoamandln“, wie sie im Dialekt genannt werden, zur Wegmarkierung errichtet. Die bekannten und vielbegangenen Wege haben mittlerweile Wanderschilder bzw. die rot-weiss-rote Markierung. Auf einigen „geheimen“ Wegen sind aber die Stoamandl-Markierungen immer noch Usus. Immer mal wieder finde ich einen Weg, der so markiert wurde – von Bergfreunden für Bergfreunde."
