Op het Gouvernementsplein in Bergen op Zoom zag ik een serie van (wat ik dacht) metalen modellen met de stadsplattegrond door de jaren heen. Het bleek na online-onderzoek een serie fonteinen te zijn. Er zijn ongeveer acht stadsplattegronden, de oudste geeft de situatie van ongeveer 1200 n. Chr. weer en de jongste van 1918.

On the Gouvernementsplein in Bergen op Zoom I saw a series of (what I thought) metal models with the city map over the years. It turned out to be a series of fountains after online research. There are about eight city plans, the oldest shows the situation from about 1200 AD. ch. again and the youngest of 1918.
