DE: Das Wetter war heute erstaunlich gut, und da heute nicht so viel zu tun war, beschloss Erik sich am Nachmittag zum Zeichnen nach draussen zu verziehen. Geplantes Ziel war dabei die nahe Kirche St. Stefan an der Rheinstraße im Brühler Stadtteil Ost. Der gut sichtbare Glockenturm mit der Verbreiterung ließ sich gut auf dem Parkplatz der Kirche in der mitgebrachten Sitzgelegenheit - einem Campingstuhl - zeichnen. Verwendet wurde wieder mal der Druckbleistift (Faber Castell TK9400) und einfaches Druckerpapier.
Die Kirche wurde übrigens von Dominikus Böhm geplant und von seinem Sohn Gottfried Böhm errichtet, eingeweiht wurde die Kirche dann 1965.

EN: The weather was surprisingly good today, and since there wasn't so much to do, Erik decided to go outside to draw in the afternoon. The planned destination was the nearby St. Stefan Church on Rheinstrasse in the east of Brühl. The clearly visible bell tower with the widening was easy to draw in the car park of the church. The seating - a camping chair - was brought along, the clutch drawing pencil (Faber Castell TK9400) and simple printer paper were used again for the sketch.
The church was planned by Dominikus Böhm and built by his son Gottfried Böhm, it was consecrated in 1965.
