"P. van Walbeek designed the bandstand. Over the years, this building burned down several times. Originally, next to the bandstand there was also an aviary with, among other things, tropical birds, pigeons and peacocks. In 1955 a bench was built next to the bandstand. It was a gift for Gerrit Schaar, who was conductor of the fanfare orchestra Onderling Geluk for fifty years."
