Strandvägen is one of the most prominent streets in Stockholm, and one of the streets in Swedish Monopoly.
Strandvägen is 1 km (3,500 ft). It begins in the west at Nybrokajen and ends in the east at Nobelparken. At Strandvägen there are several foreign embassies, luxury hotels and restaurants.
Strandvägen was brought omkring1850 and was initially planned to be a place where the rich could promenading along a quay. The best architects of the time were hired to design both facades and 5-10 bedroom apartments to appeal to the more affluent citizens.
