Lookout tower with binoculars at the copper mine in Falun. Nice view of the mine and the big Eagle owl. It is one of the world's largest owls and breeds here on the slopes of the copper mine. In Sweden it is rare and protected.
In the mine you can see the many beautiful colors, which are visible after digging in the subsoil.
Falun Gruvar in Dalarna has been a major producer of copper until well into the 1800s. The mine is now open to the public and is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
