The Starbucks coffeeshops are spreading around the world and in 2019 it was Serbia to get the very first Starbucks coffeeshop. eKapija, the leading business portal in Serbia wrote about the opening on 04/16/2019:

"First Starbucks in Serbia opens

One of the world's most popular coffeehouse chains, Starbucks, has been available in Serbia since Monday, at the Rajiceva Shopping Center in Belgrade.

The opening was attended by numerous guests from Serbia and abroad, including the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic.

The first Starbucks coffeehouse in Serbia offers a wide range of coffee drinks, and the menu will feature all the items Starbucks is well known for.

'We are very glad that we have the opportunity to offer guests in Serbia the unique Starbucks experience by opening the first coffeehouse of this brand in Belgrade. The coffee culture in Serbia is rich and we are looking forward to becoming a part of it and to providing people with a place where they can enjoy some good coffee' stated Adam Mularuk, Starbucks Brand President at AmRest.

The new coffeehouse, located in Kneza Mihaila Street, takes up 175 square meters and has a total of 104 seats, including 41 seats on the balcony. The modern interior is ideal for spending time with one's friends, studying or having business meetings.

The restaurant's design features the brand's recognizable colors, and the details and the graphics at the coffeehouse showcase the process of making coffee."

In the center of Belgrade, Serbia there is the Rajiceva Shopping Center with a lot of shops, food and entertainment. The Starbucks is great to start the shopping tour as well as celebrating the shopping tour afterwards. There are some seats more comfortable than others and it is very popular, so fingers crossed that one of them is free and you will stay longer time. Meanwhile there are at least 3 coffeehouses in Belgrade with hopefully more to come.
