Dit is het voormalige dorps- en gemeentehuis van Polsbroek. Het pand staat langs een grindweg naar de oude kerk van Polsbroek, aan het Dorp. Het pand dateert uit 1949 en is gemaakt naar ontwerp van de architect A.A. Kok (archeif.rijnstreek.nl). Nadat Polsbroek in 1989 in de gemeente Lopik opging verviel de functie van het pand geleidelijk. Het werd echter een centrum voor de inwoners van Polsbroek voor allerlei activiteiten.

This is the former village and town hall of Polsbroek. The property is located along a gravel road to the old church of Polsbroek, on the Dorp. The building dates from 1949 and was designed by the architect A.A. Cook (archeif.rijnstreek.nl). After Polsbroek was merged into the municipality of Lopik in 1989, the function of the building gradually declined. However, it became a center for the inhabitants of Polsbroek for all kinds of activities.
