Since 2018 there is a 10.000 m2 fishing pond next to restaurant Spelerij de Witte Wieven in Zwiep, a small village in the eastern parts of the Netherlands.

In 2018, a new fishing pond was opened in de Spelerij in Zwiep. The surface is 10,000 m2, average depth 1.50 meters. The fishing rights are leased from the nearby restaurant. Members of fishing association Laren-Lochem can fish here for free, non-members pay 5 Euro for a day ticket.
Fishing is only allowed with a fixed rod. Additional feeding is allowed but only with pellets sold in the restaurant.
All fish in the pond are placed by the fishing club.
In 2018 this was 250 kg of mirror carp of 250 - 500 grams each.
In 2019 200 kg of carp averaging 1 kg each, and 17 Siberian sturgeons. In 2020 15 pieces of bass. In 2021 40 mirror carp and 40 common carp.
Damage is caused by cormorants and occasionally by disease.
Recommended tackle: Only fixed rod allowed.

Just sit and be patient. Use some pellets to create a feeding place.
