This iron ring is on a rock, close the green lagoon in Lanzarote.
With 20 cm of diameter, probably had used for camels.
Camels were the transport in Lanzarote for wood, potable water that came of other island, for agricultural jobs, etc.
Camels of Lanzarote has legs shorter than camels of Sahara or Egipt, and were (and are now) good because are very strong.
Now their job is for touristic walks.
