The Stolperstein is in front of the building where he lived, Peter Bechsgate 10.

Isak Shotland was born on June 24, 1892 in Veksne, Lithuania. Isak came to Norway in 1907 and had a manufactory. The manufatur trade was confiscated by the German police, and he was arrested on October 26, 1942. He was then taken to Bretveit prison outside Oslo. From there, on November 26, 1942, he was deported to Stettin and from there to the Auschwitz extermination camp. His further fate is unknown and his date of death is not yet known.
