State Game Lands No.33, comprising 17,583 acres, is located in southwestern Centre County south of Philipsburg. The terrain is primarily high plateaus, and is primarily forested. The network of access roads are gated and usually closed to vehicular traffic. The trails marked with signage and orange diamond blazes. Once there is enough snow the forest becomes a playground for the snowmobiles.
