The Runestone was discovered in 1813 in the eastern chapel in Växjö Cathedral. The runestone had been covered and was now placed outside the church.
The runestone is about 1 meter high and has both writing and ornamentation.
The runic text is: u[(k)]i (:) reisti : stein (:) eftir : kunar : sun : kirims × kuþ healbi sel hans tyki × uikikr
Translated text: Tyke - Tyke Viking - erected the stone after Gunnar, Grim's son. God help his soul.
