1707: The botanist Carl Linné is born
1757: Carl Linné is knighted and is world famous for his systems that group plants and animals.
2005: The Storm Gudrun overturns 40% of the trees in the Teleborg forest.
2007: The Storm Per overturns another 20% of the trees in the Teleborg foresst.
2007: The 300th anniversary of Carl Linné is celebrated in Växjö. The idea to establish Linnaeus' arboretum in the Teleborg Forest arises.
2008: Växjö Municipality and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences start a collaboration to establish an arboretum.
2008: The first tree is planted. A North American Douglas fir
2009: 10000 plants are planted in different groups
2012: Linnaeus' Arboretum is inaugurated on National Day.
2016: The work of establishing a pavilion with information begins
2017: Linnés Arboretum celebrates its 10th anniversary.
