The Häme Museum commissioned the maze from Tampere-based artist Marra Lammi near the museum building. The maze was carried out as part of the renovation of Näsinpuisto in cooperation with the park unit and the power plant. The maze is based on the spiral ornaments found on the walls of the Häme Museum. Almost similar spiral patterns can be found in a 5,000-year-old corridor tomb in New Grange, Ireland.
Marra Lampi made her own version of the double spiral, which in her maze is built of tuija and aronia bushes. There is a corridor half a meter wide between the rows of bushes. The second part of Milavida is the lights in groups of three lamps. The colors used are yellow, red and blue. The artist himself says that he is interested in colored shadows that reflect the opposite color.

Hämeen museo tilasi teoksen tamperelaiselta taiteilijalta Marra Lammelta museorakennuksen läheisyyteen. Teos toteutettiin osana Näsinpuiston peruskorjausta yhteistyössä puistoyksikön ja sähkölaitoksen kanssa. Teoksen lähtökohtana ovat Hämeen museon seinistä löytyvät spiraaliornamentit. Miltei samanlaisia spiraalikuvioita löytyy New Grangesta Irlannista 5 000 vuotta vanhasta käytävähaudasta.
Marra Lampi teki oman versionsa kaksoisspiraalista, joka hänen teoksessaan rakentuu tuija- ja aroniapensaista. Pensasrivien väliin jää puoli metriä leveä käytävä. Milavidan toisena osana ovat kolmen lampun ryhmissä olevat valot. Väreinä on käytetty keltaista, punaista ja sinistä. Taiteilija itse kertoo kiinnostuneensa värillisistä varjoista, jotka heijastavat vastaväriä.
