Official historical marker managed by the Cittá de Bologna, this one is dedicated to the Palazzo Re Enzo one of the most famous palaces in Bologna.

In the plaque you can read:

"Costruito a partire dal 1244, fu sede di magistrature civiche e di archivi. Al primo piano vi è una sala a volte su progetto di Antonio di Vincenzo (1386). L'aspetto attuale si deve al restauro diretto da Alfonso Rubbiani tra il 1905 e il 1913. Qui fu tenuto prigioniero Enzo, figlio dell'Imperatore Federico II, dal 1249 al 1272. Di fronte di trova la Fontana del Nettuno progettata da Tommaso Laureti e realizzata da Giambologna (1563-66)."

English translation:
"Built starting from 1244, it was home to civic and archive magistrates. On the first floor there is a room sometimes on a project by Antonio di Vincenzo (1386). The current appearance is due to the restoration directed by Alfonso Stubbiani between 1905 and 1913. Here was held Prisoner Enzo, son of Emperor Federico II, from 1249 to 1272. In front of Find the Neptune fountain designed by Tommaso Laureti e Made by Giambologna (1563-66)."
