Blackaton Cross is on the side of the road south-east of Cadover Bridge, it marks the old track which led from Plympton Priory to Tavistock Abbey. It stands at 6 feet tall and 2 feet across the arms. These days it is near the end of the road due to the expansion in recent years of the clay works.
