The cairn in Roger Williams National Memorial Park was painted by
Tomaquag Museum interns Robin Spears III and Lynsea Montanari. (c. 2019) River rocks of various sizes are stacked about three feet tall in a round-topped form, a few dozen of which have been hand-painted with representations of the local Indigenous history and culture. Four oblong granite blocks surround the cairn.
